Provides knowledge and skill development for upholding clinical procedural safety standards. Develops standard precaution skills to assure minimal exposure for the patient and healthcare worker. Prerequisite: Interview with medical assisting faculty mentor prior to entry. Concurrent enrollment with MED 151. Completion of general education/electives and CCS 101, OFTEC 108, OFTEC 136, and MED 103.
